Gloria Domini Classical Community

To behold and reflect the glory of the Lord

Gloria Domini Classical Community equips homeschooling families to classically educate their children through a Christian worldview. We cultivate joy in God's law, wonder at creation's beauty and truth, and pursue a lifelong love of learning. Our community supports parents in raising the next generation with wisdom, faith, and readiness for God's work. Together, we build a foundation in language, mathematics, research and much more in order to prepare students to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty throughout their lives.

Core Values

Spiritual Growth

All true knowledge begins with God. Therefore, education flows from a Christian worldview, shaping not just academics but the soul. We aim to cultivate hearts that love the Lord, minds renewed by His Word, and lives that reflect His glory—teaching children to behold and reflect Him in all they do.

Homeschool Philosophy

Children are a blessing from God, and their education is a sacred stewardship entrusted to parents. Guided by His wisdom, parents nurture hearts and minds in truth and love. We affirm an integrated approach where subjects connect into a unified understanding of the world. Following the classical trivium—grammar, logic, and rhetoric—we provide age-appropriate learning within a family-centered model, allowing parents and children to grow in knowledge and wonder together.

Community

We are committed to a Christ-centered community of fellowship, encouragement, and support. Our desire is for families to grow together—academically, spiritually, and relationally. Embracing classically minded education, we encourage a thoughtful pace that helps students behold and discern what is true, good, and beautiful as gifts from God, while striving for excellence and maintaining the parent as the main educators in their home.

Classically Minded Education

We value classical studies as a path to wisdom, virtue, and joyful learning. Through enduring texts, ideas, and traditions, students learn to think deeply, reason clearly, and communicate eloquently in written and oral form. Classical education invites them to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty as reflections of God’s character and creation.

Lower School

portfolio 2

Our Lower School program serves children in the grammar stage of classical education, which roughly translates to the ages of four through twelve, though we believe that parents are the best judge of their child's program readiness.

Upper School

portfolio 2

Our Upper School serves students in the dialectic and rhetoric stages, focusing deeply on debate, philosophy, integration, and meaningful conversation. Through these disciplines, students cultivate a biblical worldview and develop a love for truth, goodness, and beauty across all areas of study.

Scope and Sequence

We pursue truth, goodness, and beauty together each Friday morning as we gather for Symposium, uniting all levels of Gloria Domini in one shared time. Together we lift our voices in hymn study, hide God's Word in our hearts through Scripture...

Statement of Belief

portfolio 1

God. We believe in the only true God (John 17:3), the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20). He created all things (Revelation 4:11) and upholds all things by the Word of His power (Hebrews 1:3).
